Tire size on a '54 Mercury.

I just bought a '54 Merc that has some mags with 14" tires. What was the factory sized tires on the Merc? 6.70X15? Also were the factory wheels 15X5 or 15X5.5?

99% the tires were 7.10x15 on a 15x5.5 rim
It looks like the wheel bolt pattern changed in '55

Both my '52 & '53 Mercs had 7.10x15 tires on them

It has been 40 years since I owned one of the 50's Fords, but I think I remember that it had the tire pressure on the inside of the glove box door, and I think maybe the tire size, can't remember for sure. If I get out to the shop any time soon I will look at my 51 merc and see if it is on the glove box door on it.
