Tires for my truck are 6.00 16 but I like the big rear and smaller front what are the size that you guys are putting on your trucks . The truck is stock but would like to put bigger tires than stock . Thanks Tom

6:50 x 16" were optional at the factory and really fill the wheel openings nicely. Still stock but with (in my opinion) a better appearance. The 6:50's are about 2" taller and in "real life" about 1" wider.

larger tires will also affect the fitment of the spare tire, for whats it's worth. I do like 6.50x16's on pickups.

I run 7.50x16 and 5.50x16 up front
21 stud. 3.78 rear .

The last few posts show the difference between restorers and hot-rodders.

I like "Talkwrenche"'s answer best, so you know what that makes me.

I love my 6.50s on my 41. They're older cross ply (bias ply) that are in good condition.
