Hello, if your car is a 1930 , the tire size should be 4.75 5.00 x19 , 19 will be the rim size the other is the size of the tire itself.Firestone was original equipment when new . Coker tire website has the dimensions of the tires they sell. Pressure is 35 psl factory recommend.

Just for clarification, the original tire size on all passenger cars for 1930 was 4.75-19". The exception was all 150B Station Wagons came standard with a 5.00-19 tire size.

Correct on the 4.75 tire size, the 4.75 5.00 sizing was after market, I have an old tire that is marked 4.75 5.00 5.25 5.50 x19 I guess one size fits all , probably marketed when cars were just used 20 year old cars.

Are you sure the car isn't a 1929 registered in 1930 as was done in the past? Post a photo and we can be more certain in our assessment.

Car in picture is a 1930 but I can’t tell if the rims are 19 , would have larger hub cap than the 21 inch rims .

Looks to me to have 21" wheels based on the hubcap size. There should be a size on the sidewall of the old tires.. that would be the number to go with.

You should trade your set for a set of 19" wheels and tires. The 21" wheels are rarer so you should get the best of any trading.

The boys are right about the size, but, if the car is a driver, what the heck, drive it.

I like the looks of the 21's over the 19's.
