Tire and Valve Stems "A" part numbers?

Did Ford ever assign "A" part numbers for tires and valve stems and all its components?

What other items for which we see do not have a known "A" part number associated with it that is not listed in the Parts Price Lists or the Body Parts List?

Interesting.

I would GUESS that anything that FORD bought from an outside vendor, that was not specifically made for FORD, they did not give a FORD part number. That would include tires, tubes, air valves etc.

I'm sure they had part numbers for the stem ASSEMBLY, but not likely for the individual components. There are several "tire casing and tube assembly" drawings on file that should provide the individual part numbers. I doubt there are individual drawings on file.

They would assign a part number for everything they used.

Pluck/Marco, I have a 1928-34 parts book dated 3/5/34. There are no part # listings for tires, tubes or valve hardware. There is an accessories section with part #s listed for various items not produced but authorized by Ford like pedal pads, the 1934 greyhound, sportlights, etc. The motormeters and quails for example are not listed by manufacturer and carry one part # , one for 28-29 and another for 30-31. Only radiator cap gaskets for the birds are specified by Stant or Jarvis, Stant carries an AR suffix while Jarvis is BR. In fact, of all the accessories listed, these are the only thing that has a manufacturer's name attached.
