Tips On Installing Stock Exhaust Pipes

This is the area I have the most concern about. Are you running stock flathead and more impt did you contact Waldrons if so what did they suggest?
 
What does the exit on the manifold pipe measure? I am showing just a hair over 1 3/4, but I just want to make sure. If you go to the Walker muffler web site they have a pretty decent search for mufflers, it's just a matter of having the right offsets. The original tail pipe appears to be smaller than 1 3/4, but I plan on having a new one made out of 1 3/4 material anyways.

I am facing this same challenge now with my '39 Coupe trying to get the front pipe flange and crossover stub into position. I removed the rubber frame bumper, but am not sure what you mean by "letting the front axle hang." Exactly how did you accomplish that?
