Timing Model B Engine

I have a new modern plate distributor ready to install / time in my model b engine. The engine has a "c" marked head, and I'm unaware of any special cam, etc. in the engine. It was rebuilt in the late 70's by my grandfather, who unfortunately is no longer with us.

Does the model B need to be timed differently than the stock A? My plan is to use the Nu-Rex wrench to get close and then switch over to the test light method if needed.

Yes, that's an A cover, in fact it's a 1928 cover. You can tell by the wide lip for the solid motor mounts used in 1928 until late in the year.
