Timing covers that fit a model b motor?

I have a B block but an A timing cover. Could I just set the timing on the first cylinder @ TDC and be ok?

And then which distributor would I need, A or B? This is a bit new to me so any good advice is appreciated.

As long as you are sure it's TDC. Either distributor would work but the Model B parts are harder to find (points).
