How many different timer variations are there????
I have 3 different ones, but I'm sure there are more.
I have :
Anderson,
Leich magnetic
And New day.
Anyone else have some odd brands?

I always ran a New Day. I also know that the glass/ceramic ones made by Corning were excellent. At one point I had a bunch of oddball timers but without their dedicated brushes or rollers they are worthless. I have found the reproduction New Day timers to be a waste of money and not approching the performance of the old New Day's.

Question,... I just fought all day with a New Day timer rotor trying to pull the locking pin. I was wondering if there was a fool-proof method of getting one out that seems to be REALLY stuck. I have it back together with a different rubbing block in it for now, but at some point in time things need to be put together correctly. The last rubbing block had become loose and had gouged out the timer cover between the brass contacts, hence a different cap was installed. Monte
