tie rod measurement needed

I am looking for the dimensions of the cone of the tie rod joints of my 34 Tudor. Mine are worn a bit and maybe I can find a more modern replacement where I would only need to make a new rod.
Thanks for info.

The tie rod holes are all cut at a 7º taper. Coop

.

7º on a side or included angle?

It's the INCLUSIVE ANGLE, or more-precisely, 1-1/2" per foot.

Thanks a lot, is there a modern replacement available with not only 7Degr Taper but the correct diameter for the bores in the steering arms?
I am driving the car almost every day so I don´t want to take it apart for measurement.
Thanks!

Regular '35 up Ford tie rod ends fit your '33 spindles. The same ends were used on Ford trucks forever. I usually take a F-1 or F-100 tie rod and shorten and rethread the R/H threaded end. You also make a new one out of 7/8" tube. I know you are not in the US; but you can get a made to length tie rod from Speedway, Pete&Jake's, and other shops.

Highbeams,

You are too much; the tie rod ends of all '32-'34 Ford passenger car and commercial vehicles are the same. Even the next-to-useless so-called "green bible" will inform you of that.

Rich, thanks for this information, I have all neccessary machinery (lathers, mills etc) so making a new rod to join the steering arms is just fun to me.
