Tie rod end compatability

Is any one out there educated on the interchangability of tie rod ends between early Ford, Mercury and Lincoln vehicles? Specifically the 35 to 40 vintage cars. Any advice is appreciated.
 
I believe the years you are asking are all the same with a left hand thread on left side & right hand thread on right.
 
If you are looking for heavier duty parts like for racing, the medium size truck ends and rods, for the same years, have the same taper but slightly larger. The car parts are 11/16NF thread and the truck ones 3/4NF. Taper reamers are available many places to ream the holes in the spindles etc.
 
Thanks all for the responses! I have a lincoln suspension, and the lincoln parts websites tend to be more pricy than those selling ford or mercury parts. Thanks again.
