Tie Rod Drag Link Rebuild Kit

I’m following the Les Andrews page (1-210) on tie-rod ball springs and have some confusion.
As I understand, the drag link connects the pitman arm to the extra arm on the left spindle.
The tie rod transfers steering motion to both spindles.
The rebuild kit I bought goes to rebuild both ends of the drag link and has nothing to do with the tie rod ends?
The kit includes a dished disc the same diameter as the tension springs.
That disc does not appear in the Les Andrews book.
Would that go inside the drag link before attaching the spindle ball/spring/spacer/end plug?

if you bought the teflon kit it has parts to rebuild both the drag ling and the tie rod ends, the springs and all but one of the metal caps and teflon pieces are the same, the cap and teflon insert that is different goes on the end of the drag link that connects to the steering arm

I bought two regular metal kits from Snyder's.
Do I put the dished disc in behind the driver side spindle ball, then the spacer, then spring, then end plug?

Here is the diagram for installing the Parts in the Tie Rod Drag Link Rebuild Kit A-3305s from Snyders,

The kit does ether the drag link or tie rod. The dished piece is only used in the drag link not the tie rod.

Hey, Thanks! I was starting to think that once I saw a reference to the spacers as ball cups in the Les Andrews Drag Link section. Didn't know Snyder's had diagrams!

Anyone else have this issue where the rear drag link connection covers part of the zerk fitting so you can't get a modern gun on it?
Would the fix be to replace the modern zerk with the original style narrow fitting and use the adapter fitting on the gun?
