Thunderbird small block swap

Yes, it's my first post on this forum. I was pointed here by some of the guys on the Y-block site. Hopefully I can get a bit of help and return the favor in the future. I really want to establish a dialog (email or phone) with someone who has actually transplanted a small block into a 55-57 Tbird. There's so much conflicting info out there that I can't make heads or tails of it. If there's someone here who has pulled off the swap, I'd love to pick your brain.

Sorry if I inadvertently cased any anxiety by not clearly stating I want to use a 302 Ford engine.

The Youtube video is interesting because I recently used a Coyote engine in a Factory Five cobra replica I built.
 
go to auto.groups.yahoo.com/group/classicbirds

then sign in and choose web only......there will be a search bar and type in 302....when I did that there were over 300 hits and these are the t-bird guys who have done it or would like to install a 302 in their bird....there probably will be a couple of days delay to get accepted by the web master but it is the best site for 55-57 T-Birds...good luck...J
