This is an original emergency brake handle that was chrome plate at least 25 years ago and has been in a barn ever since. You can guess what has happened. Yes, the plating has numerous small speckles where it is deteriorating. It is not pitted and could be replated for show. There are no internals, no ratchet or pawl, just the handle itself. Replate for show, or use it on your driver as an upgrade. $20 plus postage. If interested eMail Rich at barnstuf@comcast.net
