All you need to do is take hold of that long angled piece that moves the throttle rod and bring it up and over to pretension the spring. About a month ago, I discovered someone had installed an extension spring between the throttle arm and the floor board on my coupe. There was nothing wrong with the original parts except for that 360 degree up and over.
