Thread Title won't stay Blue

This is not Model A related, but Fordbarn related. This is for the IT specialists out there.

When I place my cursor on the thread title, it turns blue. I would read the thread, then return to the list of titles and the previously clicked title would still be blue; easily showing me where I had been. But, it doesn't stay blue anymore, and I don't know why.

Any of you IT guys have an idea/suggestion?

Thanks,

??????????????!! Maybe yo' cursor has a CURSE on it?? Jist CURSE yo' CURSOR & have a cold one & fergit it.
My CURSOR always gives me the finger, or do I need new glasses? Bill W.

It might be how your browser preferences are set. Did you recently change browsers or "upgrade" your system? Which browser and OS are you running?

If you subscribe to a thread, there's a little blue envelope that appears next to the title-maybe you could track them that way?

700rpm - the browser is Windows Internet Explorer with Windows 8. Have not changed browsers or done an upgrade.

I did look at the browser's tools and options, but didn't see any thing that would address the problem. It is not really a problem, and I can still browse through the threads (I'll just have to remember where I was); it was just convenient.

I might try the browser's help function to see if there is "help". Or, just not worry about it.

Thanks,

Are you returning to that page in a different manner now? Like say using the back button compared to clicking on the model A forum link? I think that also effects the links like the computer is taking you to the previous page that you previously had not clicked on any links. If that makes sense.

I think Barber31 has the answer. The back button doesn't recognize that you have clicked on the thread. But if you choose Forum Jump at the bottom of the page, it shows that you have visited the link. At least, that's how it works on my Mac.

Yes, the Forum Jump will indicate the threads I have viewed (they are no longer high-lighted).

However, before it quite staying blue, my method of viewing was to use the back button (and the thread just viewed would continue being blue).

Thanks for the replies. Still investigating.
