So tuning up the 31 coupe for the upcoming 4th parades and what I thought was a bearing making some noise ends up being something I didn't even suspect. The fender brace had snapped in two just past the headlight bar. Only thing holding it in place was the fender mount bolt. It was rubbing on the top of the tire making a racket. Well I will be ok for the parades but afterward I get to warm up the welder.
In looking at the whole brace it appears the sides were cut with a hack saw to allow the bracket to bend in the middle. One way to make the fenders fit!
