The new core box for the new Thomas heads is being prepped for the core shop. Snyder has ordered 25 aluminum to start the ball rolling on these.

As stated before, I can also make these in iron. Several people said they were interested in an iron version. If anyone wants one in iron I will need to know so I can order cores for those at the same time.

Also, the dual plug aluminum heads will be ready to cast soon. Snyder asked for 20 of those when I started on that tooling. Those can also be made in iron. If anyone wants one of either of these, let me know.

I have cores to run another 10 Winfields and those are all spoken for already.

Hi Tod,

Is there a you tube that I can watch that show how the process works from start to finish on casting something? I am just curious about the process of how something goes from a drawing to cast iron.

Will they arrive ready to install and what is the cost without shipping for aluminum and iron? Wayne

If you mean a video of my stuff there is a limited video of a block poured. I do not like to give away all of my "secrets"/methods, having accumulated my expertise over the course of 4 decades. If you go to YouTube and type in my name or "block pour" you should find a little something. maybe others have more extensive videos.

Tod,

On a different subject I wonder if there would be a market for a single downdraft "Thomas" manifold designed to be heated by the exhaust manifold? I realize the originals were for two carburetors.

Right. I just put that out there one day and figured someone might want one in iron. I doubt the quantity will be high but it can still be made.

I have a couple that need to go to impreg and then will be ready to go. Shipping out there, with packaging at UPS is usually around $70. PM me and we will get it going.

Yes. One I sold apparently had a casting issue so it needs replaced asap. I am working on the foundry so I can do them when I need them and I have control over what goes on.
