The 32 arrived just before heading out of town for 10 Days. I had a few moments to add one of my Greyhounds, my FORD V8 plate and a Pegasus sticker..

from the short ride I did, it runs strong and smooth, all the signs that I can actually go drive this way out of town on the feeway. Has the typical weak battery after a long trip in a trailer. I was aware it was a rumble car, but not aware there was no rumble! No soft goods at all in the back but that is ok because I want to put it back to a trunk car, which apparently it was originally.

The choke knob is the cowl lights on first pull, and headlights on second. There is a TINY toggle switch on the steering column which is turn signals, another item I I’d not know about. The sheet metal is really fine, the rear trunk/rumble area is as solid as I have ever seen. Gas gauge works but speedo does not. Paint is old and cracking in places, mainly faded, but has that character I was hoping for. All in all, a really great long time ownership hot rod.

I say either match the rims to the stripe color or paint them black. If you paint them cream and it doesn't match, it'll appear as if you tried to match it and failed.

The gen is a 38-39? with a 56 case. The fan and extension are very light. I had hell with steel fans trying to tear the gen off. I was rpm limited untill I got the plastic fan.

Ah yeah, Andy's ol' coupe! I thought it looked familiar. You'll enjoy this one. Andy puts together good, wholesome cars, except for his taste in choice of wheel color. DD
