I recently bought a Model A that needed some help. It looked good, but it needed a little TLC to get the engine right.
I previously had two other Model A's, both 1929 Tudors and I know I worked on them but that was 30 years ago. So with this current one that I had to winch off the trailer because someone set the timing too far advanced I ended up doing a lot of minor things to make it run like a top. I lurk mostly and search to see if others have dealt with similar issue and sure enough the answers are here.
I messed around in my spare time for a month and yesterday took it for its first serious drive. It is going to be a while before I can get the grin removed from my face. Ran like it should.
