Thermostst

I think my adjustable thermostat bit the dust after the weekend. Water temp wouldn't get above 120° after an hour drive on Saturday (high of about 15°). Heater outlet temp only 83°. Looks like I am going to take it apart and see if I can fix it otherwise put in a new 180° thermostat in the upper hose. After restarting it when it cooled down, when the upper neck hit 90°, the tank read 90°. Maybe if I can't fix the adjustable I'll make sure to open it and leave it in just because it looks neat!
Got plenty hot when I covered the radiator with cardboard. Radiator water at 185°, heater outlet 160°.

Your right, it does look neat. Plus it should keep the new thermostat down in the lower part of the hose.
