Has anyone ever found the Ford accessory "The Rim Wind and Rim Set Eight Day Clock" in an unrestored Model A Ford assembled as per the instructions on page 308 of the December 1928 Ford Service Bulletins?
Kurt, Beautiful clock! never saw one, what brand? I have some kind of mushroom lookin' shift knob that maybe had a clock at one time. The hole is almost as as big as a quarter. I'll take one of Pat's cheap quartz watches, cut the band loops off & install it with a dab of silicone rubber. God! I miss her. Bill W.
It is a Buren 8 day, it used to keep good time, then the main spring broke, it was sent off to an expert, now the main spring works but it won't stay running, --hasn't made it to the top of the to-do list
It appears similar to a Phinney-Walker clock. They are a great little header clock if you can find one that is in working condition. We had one in the sedan for several years but it stopped working and like Kurt says it hasn't made it to the top of the to-do list!
