The odd, but interesting question for the day.

Really not A related, but T- sort of....

In some of the various early movies they would have a car driving along and parts falling off. I also think in a Laural and Hardy movie they had a T fall completely apart.

How do you think they did it?

As I recall the cars fell completely apart all at once so they had to be pretty heavily rigged.

Clearly an important thought for the day...

I imagine it was pretty easy actually, just snip the film where you need it and tape it together, each frame a piece or two comes off.

Not so odd at all. My first Model A shed parts wherever I went. I recall a guy that flagged to the side of the road so he could hand me the aft end of my muffler. I hadn't noticed any change in the sound.

I had an Indian motorcycle like that.Nothing ever fell off that kept it from running,or if it did it was something I could pick up and put back on.Chain guard, fenders and parts, emblems, brackets, lights, stands, seat, passenger and seat, that bike was thrashed in the 50's and parked for a reason.

Years ago a Chevy guy told me that Ford was comming out with magnetic rear bumpers.

It's to pick up the falling parts. :)
