FROM KEN EHRENHOFER:
It is with great JOY that I can announce that as of today you can click on the link below
and you will visit the NEW MARC WEBSITE!

http://modelarestorers.org/

It was about 6 months ago when we as a BOD decided to make a completely new web site.
I was asked by the BOD if I could take on this project and see it to completion. I agreed to do this.

My skill sets are limited in the area of web sites but I have a good friend who helped us (MARC) on a previous web site. His name is Mark Maron and is always there to help when needed. All you need to do is ask and sometimes you don't even need to do that! His energy level is always on HIGH SPEED! Thanks must go to Mark for all his help on completing this project.

The builder of this web site happens to be good friend of ours and was responsible for building the web site we had previous to the last one. His name is Myke Amend. Myke lives in Grand Rapids and is extremely knowledgeable in web design so we decided to go back to Myke and see if he could help us once again and luckily he agreed.

What you see today is due to all of his efforts. I would not say it is completely finished but it is real close with only a few details that need to be cleared up. Myke's responsibility is to build the frame work and our responsibility is to fill in the pages with Model A Information.

PLEASE NOTE everyone that the site is LIVE but not completely finished, we are working hard and long every day to get it done and presentable, You will notice some areas are not completed and in "gibberish" we know this and will get all the areas fill in. PLEASE go to the site look around and feel free to get back to Ken or myself with any questions or errors you see. Remember it is still a WORK IN PROGRESS, and will always need to be updated Enjoy it and hope you all approve, AND give us your feedback!!. ........Ken and Mark:D

thank you everyone...

Mike did it myself as a test and took me about 38 seconds to get the email. that is very strange here

Peggy called me today, from MARC, just to make sure I was happy with my internet membership option. She explained the other options on the phone and I did change to a better option. Now that is service!! I did the web site order and she called me the next day. Very nice. Wonderful lady Peggy is.

What is with the language in the tech. articles?

Yes, what is it? My English does not work with it. Other than that, looks great.

PLEASE read my post...and it will answer your question

Mark/Ken,
the site looks very nice! I tried the forum but it seemed to hang... might be on my end... Lots of nifty new things. Many thanks for all your hard work and dedication for all those involved.

Thanks for all your nice comments we appreciate all of them. I will look into the Forum and see why it is not responding quickly. Thanks for pointing it out to us. The gibberish in some areas is Lorem ipsom (LATIN) and is used as a filler when the section is empty....(Under construction) so we still have some more work to do so keep coming back to see some improvements. Check out the cars and parts for sale as they will always be changing and send them to modelarestorers@sbcglobal.net

The new forum is there so if you have a question about our club or maybe Model A's or anything about our hobby you will have another place to seek out information about our beloved Model A. We are not trying to compete with the Barn as this is such a great site we are just trying to offer a Q&A for our membership. The Board of Directors of MARC is always looking for ways to improve service to our fellow members. Thanks Again, Ken
