It's good these vehicles survive. When I was a 14 yr old kid growing up in Dearborn, Mich., we used to go down the street from my buddies grandmas house and play on Bill Stouts " Club Car", that was sitting forlorn in an empty lot. I remember the flathead Ford in the rear and having to go up a couple steps to get to the drivers seat. There's a picture of it in a book on and of Stout. The owner was going to junk it, and we called Greenfield Village many times trying to interest them and save it. All to no avail. It went down to Commercial Auto Wrecking, a now gone junkyard that was next to the Rough Plant. Broke in half when the wrecker pulled it from the dirt. At least it went back into the pot at Ford Motor. That was around 1968 or so.
