Thank you all for ideas to mount cut out switch.. I chose the one using existing hole in cross bar under car. So all u have to do is lift carpet/mat and turn switch. Appreciate/ john
 
Could we elaborate on this design a bit? My '29 xmember has a hole in the front vertical surface with a flat on the top area of the hole. The hole is about 2" dia. This does not seem to be the same as the pictures that were posted of a horizontal mounting with a hole in the floor. Could someone help me here? Thanks
