Just wanted to give another thank you to Mac at Van Pelts Sales. I called him today to purchase more parts for my AV8 swap (59ab in a '31 chassis). I was having another issue getting the engine to clear the front cross member. He not only called me back (I left a message) he talked me through what I needed to do with the parts I have to make the motor fit. Long story short, he didn't want to sell me parts I didn't need and helped me through (again) how to keep going on my project. I'm extremely thankful there are guys like him and others here on Ford Barn that are willing to help guys like me with projects that are new to them. Thanks a million Mac.

Mac's the man. A couple of years ago i had to have the ****** rebuilt in my forty. The mechanic in Stuart, Fl told me he had a hard time finding some of the parts he needed to do the job right. I told him to call Mac. He got everything he needed and quickly, all quality parts and we were both very happy. My ****** shifts perfect. He also fixed me up with a head gasket for my flatty this year. Thanks Mac !!!

Some may not know, and I wasn't around then, but Mac's S.O. was the original WebMaster here on what we call FordBarn. Maybe I can catch up with them on the way to Bonneville this next summer? Whadda you say JM?

Another one of those founders, Bill Wzorek, could likely use some good vibes. Look him up.
 
I've pretty much completed my transmission rebuild and Mac, his website and his book actually made it an enjoyable endeavor.
 
I went to his website this morning, it's been re-designed and I am not getting things to load, was looking for kingpins, hyper link worked but page was blank. Anyone else having issues, I am using a MacBook rather than a PC.
