Tense/Spooky Moment Last Night

As I was walking back to my car last night I stopped short due to seeing a person lurking in front of the car.

After a moment I cautiously approached and the the person barely moved.

It was another moment or two before my mind figured it out.

Here's the question: Where is the person?

That is what it seemed like.
There is a person responsible for the shadow... but it took me a bit to realize it.
Until then... the pucker factor was running a little high.
Once I figured it out it it was funny.
 
I was not aware that my ex-wife had moved to Northern Illinois and was
scaring the bejeebies out of the locals ..... :rolleyes:


Seems you have a shadow cast from the radiator on your garage door ....


Or ..... it is my ex-wife .... :eek:

Poor fellow ...... you scared the heck out of him ..... he just freeked out & jumped up in the rafters .... you can tell by the outline of his shadow that the garage door cable is wrapped around his vocal chords, he cannot move, & is speechless ...... better call 911 for a Fire Department Rescue Team ....... you can find out what he was looking for later.
 
Answer: It is my shadow.

There is a light about 300 feet directly behind me. The light on the wall does not flood the door with light so the shadow show us. Because the distance from the light source the shadow is sharp.

The spooky part was that the alignment of the light source behind me and the bottom of the shadow being cast on the car, which IS in the light of the wall light.... well, you get the picture. (or better yet, I got the picture. ;-) )
 
If you go back tonight to re-investigate & see two (2) shadows, (one adjacent to the other), it may not be what you think .......... make sure your cell phone is charged!
