Temperature Sending Units

I am looking to buy two temperature sending units that will fit into the heads of my 8BA flathead. I need both the one and two pole units that are 6 volts, I am running a 12 volt system but have a drop down to 6 volts to the 49-51 temperature instrument. As I am doing a low buck project my funds are limited.
Also, what do I need to polish an original cast aluminum intake manifold? What is the procedure to polish?

ShoeBox Ford should have sending units. i got both of the senders form then some time ago, also C&G Ford has new and had NOS units at one time. don
 
Many of the early Ford parts dealers have the senders. Using the stock temp Gauge system is not the least expensive way to go if you need both senders. They are about $50.00 each. You may be better off installing two after market mechanical temp gauges in an under dash panel bracket. Those can be had for less than $50.00 for the pair and you will know the temp at each head.
