Temp Gage for a 1939 Ford

I have several temperature gages for a 1939 Ford Deluxe, but none of them work. Is there a source where i can have these repaired?

Williamson's Instruments can redo them. They gave me a reasonable quote (IMO) for the temp gauge in my '39 p/u.

Also there is a Barner who posts that does gauges, i think its Morris gauges in Portland OR but I'm not 100% sure.

I got a quote from Williamson. It was $237, which was way more than I wanted to pay for a spare.

That's about what you'd pay for an original. I've seen and heard about repaired ones that don't keep the color, fading out to clear liquid.

Please note that I'm not speaking directly to either of the referrals posted above, as far as I know they may be OK. What i do know is that the original fluid is no longer available, banned by Uncle Sam.
