I understand Teflon coated pistons with narrow rings are available for the Model A. I understand the advantage is low friction. Has anyone had experience with how they stand up?
I remember old Dragster Pistons that were made about 1/8" too small & had PLASTIC?? buttons on the side to take up the SLACK & to reduce FRICTION?? I also think of SLICK 50, with its' TEFLON stuff--------Hope the new pistons work better than PLASTIC BUMPERS DO---------------Saw one with a square hole & a trailer hitch receiver sticking out, where did they bolt it on??? "MAYBE" to the slightly heavier TRUNK FLOOR??? Bill W.
