My dad provided me a copy of a tech tip he illustrated a while back.
It struck me as interesting, since I ordered replacement spindle nuts when I was redoing my front end, and ended up reusing the original nuts since I COULD NOT get a cotter pin through the replacements.
Turns out that the replacements are cut with 6 crowns, and the original did indeed have 8! It made all the difference getting the cotter pin to fit.
So, anybody know of a supplier for 8 crown nuts like in the image.
Just wondering.
