Tailgate script

[31 Pickup]

Does any parts supplier make a decal for the tailgate script for my standard '31 bed ?
Or were they ever painted at all ? (the Ford script, I mean)
I was thinking several years ago, someone offered a decal - I don't want to even try to paint this on myself

I've never seen decals offered. I'm not sayin they're not out there but I got a local sign painter to letter mine $20 and a 12 pack....after the job!!

Many years ago a fellow had some tailgates where the FORD was stamped upside down. Golly I wish I had purchased one.

I need to have mine done also. It's just painted the same color as the bed right now.

Buy a small foam paint roller. Spread a little paint out on a piece of glass. Roll the roller in the paint then on bare glass to remove excess paint. Now carefully and lightly roll the raised FORD script.
