Tail Light Question

I just bought a 1929 Model A closed cab pickup truck. The right tail light lens is white on top and red on the bottom, but the left tail light lens is all red. Is this correct?

Thanks a bunch!

I am guessing that the right one had one of the poor repops and the colored lamination has peeled off part of it. The amber ones seem to peel worse. Rod

I'm looking in the book for the 1929 's AA's and I see only a driver's side tail lite lamp with amber 'STOP' on top and red tail light on bottom. So I'd say she 'ain't got no passenger side light in the back'.

skip.

As no A came with two tail lights (except for special order in '31) it can be anything. I would though change the tail lenses to make them both the same.

'29's had an all red lens at the back. Seeing how most A's these days get another lamp for the otherside, would make sense to keep with all red lense.
