tail light mounting holes

the back left side of my A coup is tree holes for a brake light----when did they stop doing the three holes?

Not sure of the question. Where are those three holes? In the apron, or fender or under frame? what year is the car? what date if any is on the tank?

Need more info as well as pictures.

the Passenger left rear fender mounted taillight used the 3 hole mount from late '28 to end of Model A production in 1931. Commercial Model A's used an under bed taillight mount.
check the judging standards for details.

Are you asking about the holes that the drum taillight bracket mounts to?
I think they used rubber plugs in them when the went to the teacup light.
