Tail light I.D. Any ideas??

There is another post on here regarding drum tail lights and I didn't want to clutter it up with this.....but I was at a swap meet yesterday and picked up this drum style light to possibly use on my 29 banger pickup.
I thought I would check with the ford barn guys that have been around the world and have maybe seen it all, it has a glass lens and it is held in by a snap ring and I'm guessing its a commercial style, but I'm not thinking it is ford.....any ideas???

I can try and get a better photo when I get home, this is only other one I have.
I wasn't sure if the glass lens and snap ring instead of screws help to put a date on it??

Looks like late teens through early twenties Buick or Pontiac to me. I have a simular tail light advertized on the HAMB. Mine has Oakland stamped on it. Rod

I looked on the web and saw one similar that said Oakland also......I'll have to check your ad...thanks for the reply
 
My user ID on the HAMB is carmuts if that makes it easier to find. Rowdy was already being used when I joined although the person with Rowdy as a user ID has not logged in for a long time. Rod
