Tail Bracket, But For What???!

NO, look at your own pictures from the first post and then post 14. They are quite different.
Are you trying to determine what the bracket looks like for a wagon or a passenger car? They are quite different. Picture in post 1 looks like early wagon or truck bracket. Picture in 14 is clearly a 40 wagon bracket, as you can clearly see the 01A prefix on the part number in picture in post 19.
There should be no confusion.

Probably not. It changed SOMEHOW or it would still have the 40 prefix.

Ford Australia used a similar, but shorter Bracket to hold the Tail Lights on the 1932-1936 Ford Utes, as shown above.
