Tach trigger pickup

An "older" member here with CRS. I know this has been discussed before but can't find where - Yes, I used the search feature.
I have a 1941 59AB with helmet distributor and stock coil. Truck is running Neg ground.
The question: where do I attach a tachometer trigger wire?
Thanks for being patient.

Yes, normally you would get the pulsing tach signal from the ground side of the coil. But on a helmet distributor, coil mounted on distributor, the ground side of the coil goes directly into the distributor. So you can't get at it.

However, I think the terminal feeding the condenser comes off the same ground side in the distributor, so you could connect there. But I have never tried this, no direct knowledge if this will work. Please, one of the electrical experts correct me if this is wrong.
