I have the flywheel resurfaced the clutch splined to the t5. This is a flathead bell housing, adapter plate, flathead throwout bearing, shemed to the t5 shaft. All I like is the bearing that the end of the transmission shaft that is into the flywheel. Is there a number timkin or other that I can order for this conversion. the one I have is oilite bearing the shaft on the t5 is to small. Need a order number thanks lyle

I'd recommend having a new oilite bushing made up - I much prefer these to the bearings. Should only be a few dollars at a local machine shop to have one made to specs...

Ok I went to the Motion Industrey shop this morning and got a new flathead pilot bearing . Used a chevy oilite bearing. The transmission shop in Whitehouse Texas had a lathe. When I asked if they could turn a bushing to adapt the chevy bearing to the flathead bearing they did not have a machinest .the owner of the shop asked me if I could do it my self. I told him about my lathe in storage.he sais youbare welcom to use mine.he did not charge me to use it.There are some good people here in this small town. The T5 is bolted on behind the 52 in my roadster. Now for driveshaft and brake lines.
