t5 trans

whats the best t5 to go up to 59a engine this is going into a 34 pickup or is there a better choice thanks

the t5 is a good choice. get one out of chevy s10, the trans shifter is farther foward on the trans so it gives more clearance from the front seat

thanks for that,its only some of the s/a remarks that tend to put people off,,by the way we had a lot of those 42s down here during the war most if not all were 6 cylinders all chrome on the grill ect was painted ,guy in south island has a few 42s including a s/w thanks again trev

With the conversion kit I sell I recommend the 85/92 S-10/S15 2 wheel drive trans from behind the 4 cyl or small V6. 85 thru some 89s had manual speedo and the later trans have an electric sender.

Try this Trev, they sell adapters and they're made in NZ.

If you go through the HAMB link you'll see that you can swap the S-10 extension and shifter onto most T=5's.
