My guess would be 1920 because of the oval gas tank, forged running board supports and 5 piece rear tub. If it has a Canadian built motor you might be able to look up date by the motor number. The one piece valve cover was used in the later half of 21 in US production so the motor may have been changed. You might ask at the Model T Ford Club of America, there are a number of guys from Canada, NZ and Australia that post on the forum.

I gather you're asking about the car with the brass radiator. Being RHD, it must be English or Canadian. If it's not a Johnny Cash car, made up of parts from many different years, it's a 1915. If you give me the serial number (above the water inlet on the left side of the engine), I'll look up the engine assembly date.

The first pic is a RHD 26-27... look at the windshield, pedals and dash switch; that guys got a ton of Ts in that barn! The last RHD pic shows a "no through hole" valve cover. In the U.S, that was 1927 only for the vaporizer carb with over the top linkage. Was that standard on all RHD's? ws

After looking through the pictures again, I'm guessing that the car in question is the one with black radiator shell and wood steering wheel, also RHD. It's 1923-1925. Yes, it should have a Fordite (black) steering wheel. The same goes for this one: get the serial number and I'll look it up.

Bill is right. The car with the black steering wheel is 26-27. The one with the wood steering wheel is 23-25. It would help if we had pictures of just the car you're asking about.

Thanks so far,Bill. Jack Do Ron Ron it has a one piece side cover and a starter .Steve .its the rough one beside the 15 .

The radiator shell looks to be the low version. Even Canadian production would not have use the 5 panel rear section in 23-25, I don't think.

LotsaTs,man Bill .This is a few of 230 cars in these there Barns ,

Maybe it's an amalgamation of parts! :) Of course the Canadian cars are not studied as much as US so I guess there is a lot of unknowns. Or the windshield could have been replace to update the car along with the top. Does it have a wood or metal fire wall?

The wooden firewall phased out in mid 23. The slanted windshield started in 23. Therefore early 1923 would be a good guess.

The head says made in Canada so if we had the engine no. a very close date of engine manufacture could be established.

I think Red is on the right track. This car combines parts from different years. The windshield is 23-25. The wood firewall is before April, 1923. The low radiator is before August, 1923. Fortunately the Encyclopedia has a list of Canadian serial numbers, so if you give us the number I can at least get a date for the engine.

Canadian production went to the slant windshield one man tops for the 1920 model year, so it could be a '20 but not '19. There was a problem with fitting the generator on the RHD cars, so a few canadian cars in '19 and perhaps '20 (?) got a belt drive generator fitted on the LH side. Soon a new lower steering bracket was developed to make place for the generator in its intended place.
