I'm putting a B/W T-5 in my model A. Can I use the A's pressure plate? What clutch disk should I use. (14 tooth spline). Any other suggestions from the all knowing?

Mollydog, Not sure if this helps but I got mine in a kit from Auto Restorations in Muncie, Indiana. Phone number is 1-800-955-3139. I would think they would let you know if you called. I really like the t-5 in my roadster. It's so nice to be able to down shift at any speed. Really saves on the brakes. The roadster just purrs at 55mph. Good luck ,Frank

Frank, I have contacted Auto restorations numerous times. Seems the owner has had some serious health problems. I spoke with his daughter several times and she, understandably, seems to be overwhelmed. I can only wish him well and hope everything works out for them.

I still need information on the right clutch disk if anyone can help.
Thanks,

Mollydog

I have never done this conversion, but it is tempting. The clutch disc on an A is a little bit thicker than .300, i believe .350 is max, .250 is min, so I would think that if a disc has about that thickness it would work fine, & largest dia. that you can find that fits the pressure plate the best.

the owner is in a care clinic . they are closed for now . i talked to his daughter ........

my conversion takes a specially built clutch . i use a V8 pressure plate .

If you have a 14 tooth spline, you will need a S_10 clutch disk. for a 14 spline shaft. You will need an adaptor for the shaft to match the larger space for the model a pilot shaft. The model a pressure plate will work fine. I hope this helps.

I looked in my stuff last night for you, I bought mine from Dick Spadaro. The receipt just says 14 spline-9" clutch, no part number, sorry.
I dont remember the man's name I talked to, ( not Dick ) but I do remember he was very nice , and helped me when I told him what I wanted. Good Luck!:)
