My wife and I are planing a short trip down through Montana and Idaho in the near future, and was wondering if there were any swap meets or such going on, during this month or next ??

Glenn, swap meets are few and far between in Montana. However, I have a bunch of parts for '28s and '29s so we can have a two man swap meet! I live outside of Bozeman, Montana about 7 miles.

Thanks Dean for the reponse. We're really not looking for anything in particular, but every once in a while a guy like me comes across the odd part that comes in handy for myself or a friend. We enjoy attending swap meets which cater primarily to the automotive. Wife heads off looking for quilting stuff, I tote the canvas bag or cart looking for Model A parts. Makes a good hoiday. Will keep your email handy if we pass close.

Hey Glenn, thanks for the reply. If you're in the neighborhood you are welcome. By the way, there is a quilting place about 4 miles from my house.

Here's a thought. There is a Model A club in Missoula (200 miles west) and another in Billings (140 miles east). For years I have been tossing around the idea of hosting a Model A Rendezvous in Bozeman. We have a flat upper pasture that would be a great place to park a bunch of A's and could even hold a swap meet. July would be an ideal month because the rain has stopped. Though it would be a longer trip Canadian Model Aers would be encouraged to join in. I think that it would be a great time.

Not sure aboutswap meets but can ask around.. Here in Boise we have th efollowing activities planned that you would be more than welcome to attend :)

********************************************************************************************************Tentatively Late June/ early July – Tour to Ola and Sweet. Just in the discussion stage at this time. Not sure how many. if any, are interested.
Sonic Fridays! - More to come on locations
Tentatively July – The Swan Falls Tour. I thought this year instead of a frozen death march out across the frigid desert, we could try this one during the raging heat of summer for a change of pace
********************************************************************************************************
Tentatively August – Bruneau to Grandview with a possible stop at the world famous Bruneau Sand Dunes. I understand there is a museum in Grandview call the Lawson‘s Emu-Z-Um – here is their web site – even Owyhee county now is online, simply amazing -- http://www.emuzum.com/573.html. There is an entrance fee -- $5 for adults, $2.50 for kids.
August 6th & 7th -- Depot Days at the old Nampa Railroad Depot/Canyon County Historical Society. We need to be in place by 8:00 as the Farmer‘s market begins @ 9:00. I will need a head count by July due to the scheduling constraints and limited parking. Contact on this is Alice Steffensen 284-3008
