super Bowl Sunday

Down under because of the date line, we in Australia and New Zealand are a day ahead of you people in the United States.
So it's Monday here while it's still Sunday in the US.
I watched the game - it was a close contest - but Carolina narrowly won.

It's almost time. They are signing up the kids to play T-Ball league through the 15 year old leagues. The T-ball games are great. Some 6 year old hits the ball and half the team in the field runs over and jumps on the ball. The kiddo who hit the ball may or may not run and may or not run in the right direction. One or two of the parents each year get apoplectic but the vast majority are out there laughing and taking cell phone pictures of the kids to put on Facebook and the like. My favorite is when the kids come in from the filed and the whole bunch takes off for the concession stand thinking the game is over.
I take the dog with me to the games. He loves the games and the kids and a lot of the kids like him. When he hears the games over at the park which is only a couple of blocks away, he goes and stands by the door until I take him. A lot of the kids remember him and remember his name from year to year.

For those of us on the west coast, that is the middle of the afternoon.

As I've never watched a super bowl game, I'll probably keep my streak going.

I was directing my comment to Ken Crans who lives in Michigan.

Went for a SuperBowl Sunday drive in my 1937 Ford. That is my high school-- T.F. North High School, built in 1935. One of our grads and one of our deans have been in the SuperBowl. And one of my female classmates was a Chicago Bears Cheerleader during the Bears 1985 superbowl season.

Geez Tony - Carolina got hammered.
I'm hoping that maybe they'll do better in the replay.
There will be a replay later tonight Tony - won't there ?
