A Sun Visor came with the '29 Sport Coupe I'm working on and the hardware kit I bought to install it came with 4 machine screws, 9 wood screws and 13 trim washers but the visor only has the 2 holes on each end where it attaches to the hinge posts with the machine screws.
The metal cover for the front of the wood header has 9 holes in the lower edge so I thought I may have to transfer the layout of those holes to the flange on the visor but when I line up the holes in the visor with the d-nuts in the hinge pillars the visor does not clear the turned down ends of the header cover, the top edge of the visor is about a 1/2" below that cover in the center plus the angle of the flange is way off.
Also the flange on the visor is straight across and the header cover has an arch to it.
I only see one listed in the catalogs I have so does the '28-'29 Sport Coupe use the same visor as the Std. Coupe and/or Tudor, do I have a bad repro, or am I just missing something?
Thanks in advance for any help, Ted
