I bought this at O'Reillys for 4.99. Fits exactly between the shifter and the seat in my '30 ccpu. I put a sheetrock screw in the bottom of the cup holder to keep it in place. Wife is happy.

Hugh,...everyone seems to be missing the entire point of this thread. I have that and basically most of us have that.. My post is about when i add an OVERDRIVE...the extra shifter is exactly where the floor caddy is.

I actually see quite a few people offering suggestions for storing niknacks and drinks in a model A.

I'm unfamiliar with where exactly the second shifter will be since my overdrive is electric and a switch on the dash. Others in our club run the F150 overdrive.

Can you cut a hole in the tray of that caddy and have the shifter come up through it? Can you put the caddy slightly off center? Can you turn the cup holder around so it is closest to the seats? Are you in a car with a back seat where you could put pockets on the back seat to hold the items the caddy would hold and you could get a dash cup holder to hold cups?

I've seen people who have air conditioners make a shelf below the gas tank to hold their CB Radio. This also holds water bottles, maps, ladies purse, etc.. That is an option to a caddy if you have a shifter.

You may need to get away from the conventional plastic Pep Boys pick up truck caddy if you have a Mitchell Overdrive and do a combination of other items.

Yes exactly what i am using and thinking of cutting a hole to allow for the shifter as you say
