Sugar Valley Rally

[Vicky]

We participated in the Sugar Valley Vintage Car Rally over the weekend in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. This is a great event held the first weekend in June. We finished the Trophy Run on Friday in 9th place overall, 3rd in our class. We had a tough day during Stage 1 on Saturday, finishing with a 38 Second day, which put us 12th overall, 5th in our class. We had better luck on Stage 2 on Sunday, finishing with 13 seconds, which advanced us to 8th overall and 2nd in the Unlimited Class. The picture is at the finish line, where we are about to receive our score sheet. Great People, well organized and managed rally, and a heck of a lot of fun!

We enjoyed the rally also. Our family had 3 cars participating. Our daughter placed 3rd in the limited pro class, my brother and I drove our 1930 Model A Town Sedan and had a rough leg during stage 1 which made us finish 4th overall in the limited pro clas. My wife and sister in law placed 5th overall in the limited class. We enjoy the rally and look forward to meeting new car nuts every year. Check it out on www.sugarvalleyrally.com.
