I was a member for many years at OSV. I didn't know that they had a Old Car Festival !

I'll have to check it out in the future.

It is the annual New England Meet but I believe it is open to the public. What I mean is the public can look at the cars and wander about I have done this myself before I owned a car and I have friends that attended each year with us, but of course if a person wishes to attend the socializing and eating they must pay, some of the seminars also cost money. Let me assure you it is a gathering of Model A people to get together and have a fun weekend it is not a national convention...bobbycoke

It takes place during INTERNATIONAL MODEL A FORD DAY so the Saturday, Sept 18 Tour will be a part of IMAFD and photos will be taken for the National Magazine articles.
I have also arranged for an IMAFD banner to display following the tour.

O.K. then, it's at the new motel near O.S.V.

While in the area, I suggest that you visit the village. Since the village is set in the 1830's time frame, your Model A will be a new/future car !

The clock museum at the village is very nice too.

June 4th the museum is planning something in conjunction with the Worcester County Model A Club. There will be more as we get closer. The New England meet has been going on for many years now and has met in this location a few times before. This was also the location of a national meet in 1988. Forget if it was MAFCA or MARC.

Frank is correct, it was the MAFCA National Convention that was held in Sturbridge in 1988. I was co-chairman of the meet, was it really that long ago?

They USUALLY have a small flea market.
The also USUALLY have lots of neat Model A stuff for silent auction and chinese auction lottery with tickets in the cans.
I figure this year will be the same as always.
