Stud & Sparkplug Pattern Measurements

Does anyone have (or can I be directed to) the stud and sparkplug hole pattern measurements on the Model A head?

I am building a head puller, and am transfering the stud and sparkplug pattern by measuring between holes. It has been difficult as the head is still on the engine (plus the distributor has not come out yet), and each time I measure I get a slightly different dimension. If I had a spare head (which I don't), I would transfer the hole pattern with my transfer punches.

After I build the head puller (and it works successfully), I am going to donate it to our club's tool inventory.

Can anyone help?
 
Yes, I will certainly need a head gasket. I haven't got one yet because there are a few to choose from, and I haven't decided which I want to purchase. (I am narrowing it down though.)

I did check with club members who are local to me here in the Amana Colonies (there are four of us), and none had a spare head. However, dumb me didn't ask if they had a spare gasket. (Then again, they didn't think to suggest it either!) (I'll be talking to them again tomorrow.)

I am going to Cedar Rapids tomorrow on business, and can stop by some of the club members up there.

Whichever one (gasket or head) I end up with first; I am going to make a template and put it on a PDF file for future use. I will then post here on FordBarn.

A head gasket will be a big help, but you will still have to determine the spark plug placement in relation to the head bolts.
 
Tom - Yes, a gasket won't show me the sparkplug placement. But with a little triangulation; I should be able to get there location.
