stuck wheels

my mostly 36 coupe

My car has been stored in the garage without rolling for several years now.
I got the engine running pretty nicely...thought I could drive the wheels free but it wouldn't budge. I don't want to break anything from being a bonehead so that's why I'm here first :o. Car has juice brakes.
So how can I service the brakes if I can't even turn the wheels?
Thanks in advance for your help. Tom

Get it off ground and ck which one is stuck or all of them ,could be the emg brake not releasing check the cross shafe to see if its free, your probally still using it for e brake if you have hyd there should be a little slack in e brake cables ,

My guess about the problem is that the wheel cylinders rusted during storage. When you first applied the brakes (or maybe just stepped on them when entering or exiting the car) the shoes were pressed firmly against the drums and the rusted wheel cylinders prevented the pistons in the wheel cylinders from retracting. You might try adjusting the brake shoes to the minimum diameter and hope for the best (after adjusting do not reapply the brakes until you have the drums removed. If only the rear drums will not turn it is possible that the vehicle was stored with the emergency brake applied and the shoes rusted themselves to the drums. Post if it is all 4 drums locked up or just some as that will help with people's suggestions on solving the problem. Good luck.

Best to do front first.Take the center nut off remove bearing, leave wheel on and try rocking side to side. You also can open the bleeder just in case so brake fliud.Backing plate remove nails.Just keep working it.Try the back under power.

Is the pedal stuck in the down position or stuck on the floor? Open the bleeders and see if the brake system is stuck under pressure.
If not, you will have to try and loosen the adjusters at the bottom to loosen off the shoes.
