'H and H Flatheads' run posts of Facebook often, featuring flathead engines they have recently built. They talk of 'Strombergs from England' as the carbs they use almost exclusively.
Does anyone have a link where they can be purchased?

I bought from max. Super helpful and fast shipping. He recommended jets and power valves too and it all works great.

Clive Prew was at one time a member of the MSN Flathead forum some 25 years ago when he was working on the finishing touches of his new 97s.
He more or less kept us up to date on the new and improved features of his 97 while we watched it come to fruition.


Unfortunately there are unscrupulous characters out there and not long after he had introduced his 97s to the world Speedway Automotive bought several and reverse engineered all the work that Clive Prew had done and sent several of the carbs over to China to have a 'cheap' copies made, and they are cheap. -Avoid the speedway super 97s like the plague.


Clive Prew took special care to refresh the original 97's while also bringing them into the new century and for this he is well respected.
Not so much the other guys cheap knock off's
